Woman found unresponsive in Bessemer

BESSEMER, MI--   The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of an unresponsive woman Monday in Bessemer.  

Deputies responded to a 911 call from the 1600 block of South Hadley Street around 1:20 p.m. They found an unresponsive 31-year-old woman at the residence.

Officials haven’t released the condition of the woman or her identity.

The incident remains under investigation. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
