IRON RIVER, MI-- An Indiana woman has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of an Iron
River man.
Kelly Cochran, 33, of Merrillville, Indiana awaits extradition from Wingo, Kentucky, where she’s being held on a fugitive from justice warrant. She’s wanted out of Iron County for homicide, second-degree home invasion, conspiracy to commit dead bodies – disinterment or mutilation, concealing the death of an individual, lying to a peace officer during a violent crime investigation, and accessory after the fact to a felony.
Cochran was arrested after a search of her Iron River residence last year made her a suspect in the disappearance of Christopher Karl Regan in October of 2014. Police say she fled to Indiana after the search then ran to Kentucky, where U.S. Marshals arrested her last Thursday.
