IRON MOUNTAIN, MI - A Niagra man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Iron Mountain. According to the Daily News, 35-year old Gene Rigo Hebert is accused of joining 17-year old Jacelin Sims and a 26-year old Florida woman in robbing a West Brown Street resident at knifepoint. They were arrested March 8th in Pennsylvania. Iron Mountain Police say the suspects stole medical marijuana and cash. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries while attempting to resist the suspects. Hebert is charged with felony counts of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and home invasion – first degree. He is also listed as an habitual offender.

Sims was sentenced in December to a minimum of three years in prison.
