UPSET nabs Gwinn man for delivering drugs

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, MI--   A Gwinn man has been arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team on marijuana charges.  

The 23-year-old was lodged in the Marquette County Jail Monday and is charged with two counts of delivery of marijuana.  Detectives also conducted a search of the suspect’s Carpenter Road residence.

UPSET was assisted by Forsyth Township Police, Marquette City Police, and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
