UPDATE: Escanaba Police bust meth lab

UPDATE:  Police have released the names of two suspects in an Escanaba meth bust.

On Sunday the Escanaba Department of Public Safety discovered a meth lab on the 300 block of North 12th Street.  Three people were arrested and lodged at the Delta County Jail.

Police say Michael Walker is charged with delivery and manufacture of meth.  Jesse King is charged with delivery and manufacture of meth and possession of meth. 

A probable cause hearing is set for October 13 and a preliminary exam for October 20.

ESCANABA, MI--   Several people have been arrested, after a meth lab was found in an Escanaba residence.

Following an anonymous tip Sunday, the Escanaba Department of Public Safety was dispatched to conduct a welfare check on the 200 block of North 12th Street regarding possible drug use.  Investigation uncovered a meth lab at 311 North 12th Street.

Three people were arrested and lodged in the Delta County Jail.

Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, UPSET meth responders, and Delta County Dispatch.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
