MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI-- Only minor injuries are reported, following a two-vehicle crash in Marquette Township Wednesday.
State Police from the Negaunee Post say the accident happened at the intersection of US-41 and Brickyard Road.
A Ford Focus driven by Shannon Stieg, 28, of Marquette attempted to turn right onto the highway and pulled into the path of a westbound Chevy Trailblazer driven by Heidi Kievit, 21, of Negaunee.
Stieg was taken to U.P. Health System Marquette with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was cited for failure to yield.
