REPUBLIC TOWNSHIP, MI-- One person was arrested in Republic Township over the weekend after Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post executed a search warrant.
It was served at a residence on M-95 near Witch Lake. Troopers say the warrant was executed following an ongoing felonious assault investigation. They say the assault happened on a prior date.
Police took one person into custody without incident.
Troopers were assisted by the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team and UPHS-Bell EMS.
