MARQUETTE, MI-- The City of Marquette is holding a public meeting to review proposed plans to develop a portion of Lakeshore Boulevard.
The 3,000-foot section adjacent to Lake Superior is occupied by a tall ridge of rock rip-rap that blocks views of the lake. Officials have developed five conceptual plans to redesign and restore the section, and are looking for public input on a preferred design.
The meeting takes place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Forum room of Lakeview Arena. For more information, call 225-8380.
