LANSING, MI-- The Department of Natural Resources is seeking public comment on its updated wolf management plan.
The DNR has completed a draft update of its 2008 plan, which contains four principal goals: maintain a viable wolf population; facilitate wolf-related benefits; minimize wolf-related conflicts; and conduct science-based and socially acceptable management of wolves.
The four goals remain the same in the updated plan.
Public comment will be accepted through April 3. To download the plan go to Michigan.gov/wolves.
Send comments to DNR-Wildlife@michigan.gov, or to DNR Wildlife Division, P.O. Box 30444, Lansing MI, 48909.
