Possible knife attack on Marquette officer investigated

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette Police are investigating a possible knife assault on an officer.  

Thursday around 2:40 p.m. police were called to 2218 Presque Isle Avenue on a domestic complaint.  During the investigation a 24-year-old Marquette man was arrested and jailed on a misdemeanor charge of attempted resisting and obstructing a police officer.

They’re also investigating a possible felonious assault with a knife against an officer, involving a different person in the residence.
