Police say they've found serial flasher

ESCANABA, MI--   The Delta County Sheriff’s Department believes a suspect arrested for indecent exposure Friday is a serial flasher deputies have been searching for over the past month.

Thomas Lavigne, 29, of Rapid River is charged with one-count of indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person and five counts of aggravated indecent exposure.  He remains lodged in the Delta County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.

Lavigne was taken into custody following an exposure incident Friday between Rapid River and Gladstone.  A description of the suspect’s vehicle led to the arrest.

A preliminary exam is set for April 17.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
