Police looking for missing Hancock man

HANCOCK-- The Hancock Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a ‘voluntary’ missing person.

Officers say the family of 50-year-old John Paul Posega of Hancock says they haven’t had contact with Posega since Monday.

He did not show up at his place of employment or notify his employer that he would be absent.

Posega is described as 5-foot-11, 155 pounds with a dark complexion… slim build with dark brown shoulder length hair… and mustache and goatee.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue Michigan Tech polo shirt and blue jean shorts.

Police say Posega may be driving a black 2002 Honda accord with a Michigan plate of BCB 3837.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hancock Police Department at 482-3102.
