MARQUETTE, MI-- Northern Michigan University is teaming up with TV6, WLUC-TV to present a candidate forum for the 1st Congressional District.
Democrat Lon Johnson will square off against Republican Jack Bergman on issues that affect the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Peninsula.
The forum will be recorded in front of a live audience in NMU’s Jamrich Hall Saturday, October 8 at 3 p.m. It will then be broadcast on TV6 Wednesday, October 12 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The forum will be hosted by Public TV13’s Bill Hart and TV6’s Greg Trick
