MARQUETTE, MI-- Dave Campana is once again the mayor of Marquette.
On a 4-2 vote Monday night the City Commission elected the mayor pro-tem to replace Tom Baldini, who died last month of a stroke.
Fred Stonehouse was elected the new mayor pro-tem on a 4-2 vote, as well.
Commissioners must now fill a vacant seat on the City Commission. They decided to accept applications for the spot through January 26. The new commissioner will be elected by the Commission at its February 12 meeting.
