MARQUETTE, MI-- Another phase of construction on US-41 between Front Street and McClellan Avenue in Marquette began Friday morning.
Stage 3 of the Marquette Hospital Transportation Improvements Project involves the closure of the eastbound lanes. Traffic will be diverted to one eastbound and one westbound lane on the northern side of the highway.
Seventh Street and the Grove Street intersection will remain closed throughout this stage. A temporary roadway has been constructed off Homestead Street to allow access to Grove and other streets in that area, and a temporary traffic signal will be set up to allow cross traffic to enter the highway.
