Meth lab in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   Police discovered a meth lab in Marquette over the weekend.  

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and City Police executed a search warrant at 777 Pioneer Road, Lot #190.  They discovered an active meth lab, three grams of meth, and components to make the drug. 

The UPSET Meth Team removed hazardous chemicals from the home and transported them to a safe site.   

No arrests have yet been made. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
