MARESA to survey Career and Technical Education grads

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette-Alger RESA will soon be contacting 291 Marquette and Alger county high school graduates by phone and/or email for a survey.

The survey is being conducted for Gwinn, Ishpeming, Marquette, Munising, Negaunee, NICE, and Superior Central high schools. It will compile information about the students’ post-graduation training and employment after completing a Career and Technical Education program in high school.

The survey is required for Marquette-Alger schools to be eligible to receive state and federal funds that support such programs.

MARESA officials say student and parent cooperation during the survey will be greatly appreciated.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
