ISHPEMING, MI-- A Negaunee woman was taken to Marquette General Hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Ishpeming.
City Police say the crash happened Tuesday around 3:07 p.m. on Jasper Street. They say Krystal Frederickson, 28, of County Road was northbound on Jasper and going downhill toward East Division Street when the brakes in her truck failed. The vehicle went through the intersection, over a bank, and struck a tree.
Frederickson was taken to Marquette General Hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
