Proposal A:
"Shall separate fixed tax increases be perpetually established based on the Taxable Value of the County of Iron, the seven Townships in Iron County, and the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School district within the County, to be used for general operational purposes, the aggregate of which shall not exceed 7.85 mills ($7.85 per $1,000.00 of Taxable value) as follows:
County of Iron: 6.43 mills (This levy would raise an estimated $3,081.028 in the first year.)
Townships: 1.25 mills (This levy would raise the estimated amount for each township as follows: Bates Township $59,941; Crystal Falls Township $111,234;
Hematite Township $20,720; Iron River Township $63,478; Mansfield Township $28,224; Mastodon Township $86,378; and Stambaugh Township $111,121.)
DIISD: .17 mills (This levy would raise an estimated $81,457 in the first year.)
TOTAL 7.85 MILLS
(This being a perpetual renewal of the seven and eighty-five hundreds (7.85) mills of the authorized allocated millage rate which expires with the 2014 tax levy.)"
