Interview with visiting award winning poet Kwame Dawes

NMU's Visiting Writers Program is hosting awarding winning poet Kwame Dawes for a reading tonight at 7:30 in the University Center's Marquette/Nicolet rooms. Dawes is originally from Ghana and spent some of his later formative years in Jamaica. He is editor of 'Prairie Schooner' literary magazine, has published 16 collections of poetry including 'Wheels' (2011) and the upcoming 'Duppy Conqueror: New and Selected Poems.' He's also working on an African Poetry book series.
