LANSING, MI (AP/MPRN)--   Lawmakers returning to Michigan's Capitol for the new year have been greeted by hundreds of demonstrators still upset over a law limiting unions' power.

More than 200 protested on Wednesday morning and held up signs near Capitol entrances with photos of Republican legislators next to the word "shame." They're mad about the speed and way in which the GOP majority passed a right-to-work law a month ago.

The law prohibits requirements that workers pay union dues or fees as a condition of employment.
