Gas prices still going down

DEARBORN, MI (AP)--   AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have fallen by about six cents over the past week.

The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.55 per gallon on Sunday, about 96 cents less than at the same point a year earlier.

According to the club, gas prices in Michigan have fallen by at least six cents for four straight weeks.

AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. The lowest average price was about $2.44 per gallon in the Benton Harbor area, while the highest average was about $2.63 in the Traverse City area.
