Delta County toddler found safe

DELTA COUNTY, MI - A Delta County toddler has been found safe after going missing for about 6-hours. According to WLUC-TV, 3-year old Landen Arthur Britton was found at around 5:30 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon by friends and family. Officials said he was wet, but otherwise unharmed.

   Britton went missing around 11:15a.m. in the Ford River. His family was packing =up their car when their two dogs got out of the vehicles. The boy’s mother told him to get in the car, but instead, he wandered off when the adults were rounding up the dogs and bringing them back into the home.

   Deputies were assisted by Escanaba Public Safety K9… Ford River Township Fire… Bark River Township Fire… Escanaba Township Fire… Delta County Search and Rescue… Delta County Victim Services… and American Red Cross.
