Charges filed against man accused in Felch Township stabbing

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   An Iron Mountain man allegedly involved in a stabbing in Felch Township has been arraigned. 

Aaron Ray Hodges, 44, is charged with attempted murder in the Sunday incident.  He's accused of stabbing another man at a camp during an altercation around 1 a.m.  Both men were treated for injuries at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

A preliminary hearing for Hodges is set for October 29.  He remains lodged in the Dickinson County Jail on a $750,000 bond. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
