MARQUETTE, MI-- An NMU team has won a quiz bowl event at the Michigan Athletic Trainers Society’s Annual Student Educational Conference.
Fifteen state schools competed at the November 8 event, including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. It’s the first time a Northern team has won.
The NMU team will go on to represent the state at the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Society’s quiz bowl in March. Competition will include students from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
