MARQUETTE, MI-- A Marquette man has been arrested in a stabbing incident.
The Marquette Police Department says officers were called Thursday around 5 p.m. to the Warming Center on West Washington Street on a report of an assault. They arrested Allen Scott Beauchamp, 51, for felonious assault and lodged him in the Marquette County Jail.
The victim was taken to UP Health System Marquette for minor injuries and was released.
Police say a pair of scissors was allegedly used in the assault.
