MARQUETTE, MI-- Two Marquette schools went on lockdown as a precautionary measure Monday.
MAPS Superintendent Bill Saunders says a 911 alarm was triggered Monday morning at Superior Hills Elementary. Students and staff there and at Bothwell Middle School went into secure mode.
Officials say the lockdown lasted only about 15 minutes when it was discovered the alarm was triggered accidentally. Saunders says there is no incident to report.
