Event Description

The Peter White Public Library invites film fans to enjoy a bring your own dinner, movie event on Tuesday, April 17, for a screening of the 2017 film The Shape of Water at 6:00 pm in the library’s community room. In 1962, during the cold war era in America, lonely mute janitor Elisa, working in a hight security lab, lives a life of isolation. All changes, however, when she and co-worker Zelda discover a secret, classified experiment. Directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer and Michael Shannon, this fantasy drama is rated R and runs 2 hours 3 minutes. This film won four Oscars: best achievement in directing, best achievement in music written for motions pictures, best achievement in production design, and best motion picture of the year.
