Genealogical Tools Workshop 1:00 – 4:00 PM Thursday April 19, 2018 Seminar Room, Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center See description for price Have you ever wanted investigate your own family tree? Are you a burgeoning genealogist but want some more assistance? If so, this will be the workshop for you. The staff at the Beaumier Center will be showing you how to use tools such as Ancestry.com and public records to learn more about your family’s past. In addition, they will discuss avenues for discovering data about your ancestry (and verifying that info) that you never considered before. This is in conjunction with the Beaumier Center’s exhibition, “The Immigrant Experience” opening on April 14. This is the second of two programs the Beaumier Center is offering this spring through the Northern Center for Life Learning. The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning (NCLL) is an organization that plans and offers informal educational programs and activities to enrich the daily lives of its members and others through mini-courses, regular programs, outdoor activities and social events. Membership and programs are open to any adult interested in pursuing intellectual, recreational, and/or social activities. NCLL membership dues for the 2016-2017 year are $30 with a charge for most classes; $3 for members and $8 for non-members.
