Work starts next week to rebuild pathway in Upper Peninsula

IRON RIVER, MI (AP)--   Work starts next week on an effort to rebuild more than two miles of non-motorized pathway along US-2 in the Upper Peninsula.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says the work is scheduled to begin Monday in Iron County from Gibbs City Road to Ninth Avenue in Iron River.

Lane closures are expected as work is taking place. Under plans for the project, construction is scheduled to be completed by July 1.
