Vacant seat on Gwinn Board of Education

GWINN, MI--   The Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education is looking for someone to fill a spot at its table. 

Board member Joseph Boogren resigned November 19, and the board has 30 days from that date to fill the vacancy.  The person appointed to the seat will serve on the board until December 31 of 2018. 

Those interested in being on the board should submit a letter of interest to Ronald Lauren, Board of Education President, 50 West M-35, Gwinn, Michigan, 49841. 

The deadline for the letters is 4 p.m. on Friday, December 2.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
