SAULT STE. MARIE, MI-- The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has arrested two downstate men in Sault Ste. Marie on drug charges.
A search warrant executed Wednesday at a hotel room uncovered more than 15 grams of cocaine, marijuana, and more than $500.
The 44- and 49-year-old men from Waterford were arrested for possession of marijuana and conspiracy to deliver cocaine. The 49-year-old was identified as an illegal immigrant from Albania who was wanted on a federal deportation order.
Both suspects remain lodged in the Chippewa County Jail. Their names have not been released, pending arraignment.
