UPSET makes heroin and firearms arrests in Houghton County

LAKE LINDEN, MI--   Four people have been arrested in Lake Linden on heroin and gun charges. 

Over the past several weeks UPSET has been investigating the delivery of heroin and identified three suspects believed to be involved in drug sales who recently traveled from Detroit to Houghton County.  Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Calumet Street and seized a small amount of heroin, cash, and a loaded shotgun.

Four suspects were arrested and lodged in the Houghton County Jail.  Two suspects were arrested for delivery of heroin; a third was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm; and a fourth was arrested for loitering in a drug house.

Their names have not yet been released. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
