UPHS Marquette CEO to leave post

MARQUETTE, MI--  The head of Upper Peninsula Health System Marquette is resigning. 

Duke LifePoint has released this official statement:

"Trent Crable has decided to step down from his position as CEO of UP Health System – Marquette and take some time off for personal reasons. His last day at the hospital will be July 29.

We respect Trent’s decision and appreciate his leadership and service to the hospital and community over the past several months. Trent was assigned the CEO role last October. 

Duke LifePoint is committed to ensuring a smooth leadership transition for UP Health System – Marquette. While it is premature to make an announcement, we have identified a strong candidate to fill this important leadership role and hope to share this with the community very soon. "

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
