UPDATE, 3/26/18: Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say Austin Mitchell, 21, of Ishpeming was the driver in the incident. He was injured. Passenger Jacob Weslin, 21, of Marquette was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.

MARQUETTE, MI-- One person is dead and another injured, following a single-vehicle crash on County Road 550 in Marquette County.
State Police from the Negaunee Post say it happened Sunday around 4:50 a.m. just north of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Troopers say it appears the vehicle was southbound when it left the roadway, hit a power pole, then rolled over into the ditch.
Officials say a 21-year-old from Ishpeming and a 21-year-old from Marquette were in the vehicle. One was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment.
Their identities are being withheld at this time.
