MANISTIQUE, MI--   A  wildlife biologist will talk about the deer harvest at an upcoming Department of Natural Resources Citizens’ Advisory Council meeting in Manistique.

Eric Clark is a non-tribal staff member with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.  He’ll give a presentation on the status of the herd and potential harvest.

The council will also hear answers to questions the DNR is frequently asked about Pittman-Robertson and Dingell-Johnson sport fish restoration efforts.

The public will be able to comment on the topics at the meeting, which will be held October 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Community Building in Manistique.
