Three arrested for Grain 'N' Grape theft

ESCANABA, MI--   Three people have been arrested in connection with a robbery last summer at the Grain ‘N’ Grape in Escanaba.  

The Delta County Sheriff’s Department says someone sent a tip to crimestoppersusa.com last month.  That led to the arrest of the clerk who reported a man in a ski mask walked into the store with a gun August 3 and took money. 

Annaelise Ambrose, 22, of Escanaba is charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in a building, aiding and abetting in the larceny of a building, and lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation.  she remains jailed on a $50,000 cash bond. 

Abby Johnson, 20, of Escanaba is charged with larceny in a building and conspiracy to commit larceny in a building.  Her bond is $100,000.

And Cory Vanderlinden, 26, of Gladstone is charged with accessory after the fact to a felony.  He remains jailed on a $50,000 cash bond. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
