Suspects in Marquette meth bust charged

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two men allegedly involved in a meth production operation in Marquette have been arraigned.

Robert Nancarrow, 37, and Brodie Smith, 26, are both charged with operating a meth lab.

Last Friday UPSET detectives executed a search warrant at a Fair Avenue residence in Marquette. They seized an enormous amount of meth components, finished meth product, and two firearms.

Due to the overwhelming number of toxic substances a portion of Fair was blocked off to traffic for five hours.

Both men are lodged in the Marquette County Jail on $100,000 cash/surety bonds.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
