Suspects caught buying meth components in the Soo

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   Two suspects have been arrested for purchasing meth components in Luce and Chippewa counties. 

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team identified the two after they purchased components at several different businesses in the area.  Last Thursday the subjects were seen buying pseudoephedrine from the Sault Ste. Marie Wal-Mart.

The two individuals were arrested after they left Wal-Mart for conspiracy to manufacture meth.  They remain lodged in the Chippewa County Jail. 

Their names will be released after arraignment. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
