Suspect sought in Chocolay B&E

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI--   Chocolay Township Police are looking for a person of interest related to a breaking-and-entering early Sunday morning.

Officers say it took place around 1 a.m. in the Timber Lane subdivision. 

The mask and shirt the subject was wearing were black, but appear white in infrared photos. 

Officers are also looking to speak to the owner of a vehicle that may or may not be involved in the crime.   

Anyone with information regarding the subject or the vehicle is asked to call Chocolay Township Police at 249-4040.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
