IRON MOUNTAIN, MI-- The Iron Mountain Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident on the west side of the city.
Officers responded to a residence around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday and found a 30-year-old man had been stabbed by a 31-year-old male subject.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the suspect was lodged in the Dickinson County Jail on an unrelated drug charge.
The incident remains under investigation, and a report has been forwarded to the Dickinson County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Iron Mountain Police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department and Kingsford Public Safety officers.
