CRYSTAL FALLS TOWNSHIP, MI-- One person is injured, following a snowmobile crash in Crystal Falls Township.
State Police from the Iron Mountain Post were called Wednesday around 8 p.m. to Trail #16 near New Bristol Road. Troopers say the driver was westbound and lost control of the snowmobile. The machine hit a tree and ejected the driver, who was not wearing a helmet.
The operator was taken to Aspirus Hospital in Iron River for treatment.
Speed and alcohol are considered to be factors in the crash.
