ESCANABA, MI-- An Escanaba man initially charged with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder has pleaded to lesser charges.

He pleaded guilty on Friday to third-degree home invasion, fleeing and eluding, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and operating while intoxicated.
Jones’ original charges also included assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of malicious destruction of property.
Sentencing is set for April 15 in Delta County Circuit Court.
