MARQUETTE, MI-- Applications are now available for a vacant seat on the Marquette City Commission.
Under the city charter the vacancy for an unexpired term must be filled within 60 days by a majority vote of the commission.
Applications are available on the City of Marquette website, marquettemi.gov. They’re also at the City Clerk’s office at 300 West Baraga Avenue.
The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. on November 30.
