Rockland woman in custody for possessing bath salts, other drugs

ONTONAGON, MI--   An Ontonagon County woman has been arrested on various drug charges. 

Undersheriff Gerald Balcomb says his department received a tip that there were bath salts inside a Rockland residence.  A search warrant was executed on the house Sunday around 10:40 p.m.  Deputies found various illegal drugs and arrested Shailyn Marie Pantti, 21, for possession with intent to deliver bath salts and possession of marijuana. 

Pantti remains lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail on 10 percent of a $25,000

bond.

State Police from the Wakefield Post assisted in the case.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
