Robarge not running for Michigan Senate

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Marquette man who filed to run as a Democrat for the state Senate seat held by Tom Casperson has withdrawn from the race.

Adam Robarge submitted a formal letter of withdrawal to the State Bureau of Elections Monday.

In a press release Robarge said while he didn’t believe the social climate of the community was being represented in Lansing and he wanted to change that, he felt he needed more experience in the political arena.  Robarge intends to run for more local positions, first.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
