Ramsay man arrested in Minnesota for B&E

BESSEMER, MI--   A Gogebic County man has been arrested in Minnesota on home invasion charges in Michigan. 

On November 10 troopers from the Wakefield Post investigated a breaking-and-entering in which guns, ammunition, electronics, and jewelry were stolen.  Investigation led police to a suspect, whom they learned was hiding in Wisconsin and Minnesota. 

Anthony Michael Adams, 31, of Ramsay was arrested Monday in Shakopee, Minnesota and lodged in the Scott County Jail on two counts of felony first-degree home invasion, felony possession of firearms, and felony firearms.

Adams was extradited from Minnesota and transported to the Gogebic County Jail, where he remains lodged. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
