Pride Fest 2017 takes place in Marquette this weekend

MARQUETTE, MI--   The group Upper Peninsula Rainbow Pride is holding its 4th annual Pride Fest Saturday at Marquette’s Tourist Park.

The event features live music, food trucks, kids activities, LGBT resources, merchandise, and a drag show.

Because of construction on Wright Street participants are forgoing the yearly pride walk. They will instead meet at the Marquette Commons at 11 a.m., then rally in front of the Post Office.

Festivities begin at noon at Tourist Park.
