Possible drowning in Grand Marais

GRAND MARAIS, MI--   The body of an elderly Grand Marais woman has been found in Lake Superior.

State Police from the Negaunee Post were notified by Alger County Central Dispatch Wednesday of a possible drowning.  Around 8:20 a.m. troopers discovered the body of 89-year-old Rose Mary Marshall in the water near the Grand Marais pier.

No foul play is suspected, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
