Police update information on missing women

NEGAUNEE, MI--   State Police have released an update on two women reported missing after they visited family in West Ishpeming. 

Sisters Leslie Roy and Lee Wright stopped in the area on April 10 and left for Mackinaw City April 11.  They were last confirmed to be leaving the BP gas station in West Ishpeming April 11 at 8:05 a.m. after they purchased fuel.  Roy and Wright did not arrive at their Mackinaw City hotel.  Their final destination was supposed to be Kalamazoo, but they remain missing. 

Roy and Wright were traveling in a white, 2010 Ford Explorer with a Nebraska plate TVC973.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call troopers at the Negaunee Post at 475-9922. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
